The Story Behind Q Drum Co.

Jeremy’s journey to creating Q Drum Co. all started back in the day at the well-known Orange County Drums and Percussions (OCDP). While working there, he had the chance to build drums for some of the biggest names in music like Travis Barker, Adrian Young, Chad Sexton, Atom Willard and so many others.

As OCDP was transitioning into Guitar Center, Jeremy saw an opportunity to take the next step. In 2010, while on tour with Katy Perry, his good friend Adam Marcello, who was the drummer for Katy Perry at the time, encouraged him to start his own drum company. That push from Adam was the spark Jeremy needed, and just like that, Q Drum Co. was born.


Fun fact: Jeremy originally wanted to call the company Twenty Ten to mark the year he started it. But after some thought, he landed on Q Drum Co., with the "Q" standing for Quality, which became the heart and soul of the brand.

What started with a simple idea in 2010 has grown into something special, all because Jeremy’s passion for creating high-quality, custom drums has always been at the forefront.
