I Believe in Signs ❤️
Bruce Lee stamps
Today I went to the post office for the first time in months to buy stamps.
The woman behind the counter asked me which design I wanted. As I looked over the options, one immediately caught my eye: a Bruce Lee stamp.
I just stood there for a second and then yelled to Brixton, “IT’S A SIGN!” ❤️

Bruce Lee was one of Jeremy’s heroes. Maybe some people don’t believe in signs, but I do. I believe the people we love find little ways to remind us they’re still with us, especially when we need encouragement the most.
What made it even more perfect was the image on the stamp, Bruce Lee performing his iconic side kick.
Jeremy used to tell me all the time, “Go kick their ass, B. I know you can do it.”
He was always my biggest cheerleader. No matter what was happening, no matter how difficult things became, he believed in me. When I doubted myself, he never did.
One thing he used to say that I’ll never forget was: “If there’s one person who can adapt to anything, it’s you, babe.”
So today, seeing that stamp felt like one of those little reminders from him. A nudge. A hello. A message to keep going.
One of Bruce Lee’s most famous quotes feels especially fitting today:
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless—like water. Now, you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
Life keeps changing. We adapt. We flow. We keep moving forward. Thank you for still having my back, even from the other side.
I miss you so much, JB.
Love, Brandi ❤️
